Bury Conservatives are the main opposition on Bury Council. In that role, we hold the Labour administration to account, but we must aspire to do better as a borough. That is why, for the first time in Bury Council's history, we have published a complete alternative budget - not just an amendment, but a completely different path for the future of our towns.
This alternative budget contains ideas that would transform Bury, Prestwich, Radcliffe, Ramsbottom, Tottington, and Whitefield for the better. It contains policies that would make Bury Council lead the country as a green, forward-thinking council. It is the manifesto that we take to the people in May - real change, delivered by people who really care about the future of our borough.
This alternative budget has been fully-costed and represents what a Conservative administration would seek to achieve if we took control in May.
