My name is Jack Rydeheard, and I am proud to have been elected as your Conservative Councillor for Elton and Brandlesholme.
I’ve lived in Bury since I was born, at Fairfield Hospital in 1999, and I went to school first at Holcombe Brook Primary School, then Woodhey High School and college at Holy Cross in Bury. Whilst many of my friends chose to go to university to study further, I chose to apply for an apprenticeship, and have been lucky to work for two Top 50 law firms whilst I worked and studied for my qualification.
This means I’ve been able to stay in the area my whole life, and I am very happy to call it home. I’m proud of where we live, and have for years enjoyed walking on the Kirklees Trail and in Burrs Country Park. There is nothing more rewarding than looking after our area and I have been pleased to do many litterpicks and work with local community groups to help. By going one step further and becoming a Councillor, I am proud that I now have the chance to give more back to Bury, to Elton and to you.
Your Elton Conservative candidate for May 2023, Andrew Luxton, and I are currently running a survey on Road Safety in Elton. Why not tell us what you think below!
